Hello Friend,
You are Blessed and Highly Favoured and I know you'd see one or more reasons why you are just that way as you follow through on this subject. God bless you.
I'll like to tell you something as this conversation continues: You can believe God because you have all it takes to do so.
God did not want the first man and his seed to live their lives in unbelief, uncertainty, and fear. He wanted them to live bold lives - lives filled with faith, direction, and gratitude but this plan was jeopardized due to man's sin which was eating from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil.
You see friend, death isn't just the cessation of breath from your respiratory system (Adam and his wife lived for donkey's years after they sinned); it is anything that results from sin and whatever is not of faith is sin! Faith does not exist in isolation from God's Word. In fact, it comes from the Word (Romans 10:17). It isn't a license to sin; it's a license to live out the God kind of Life. It is a license to please God! Faith is 'Pleasing God Made Possible' Let me show you something:
Hebrews 11:6
Wickedness, uncertainty, fear, unbelief, and every other form of evil all began when man sinned but you see, the opposite of those evils and more begins in Christ. Scripture says, "Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new." I love the fact that it goes on to tell us that "Now (not yesterday, not tomorrow but NOW!) all things are of God..." (2 Corinthians 5:17-18). Beautiful! In Christ, you aren't wicked (even though you may do some wicked and unreasonable things sometimes), you are not confused, you have faith, you have grace, you have power, and you have all that you need for life and godliness! Glory!
You see, the Christ believer does not have a provision problem because God has provided everything you'd ever need! (2nd Peter 1:3). He cares for your needs so much that He met them before you were born. God created the first man and the first woman and put them amid met needs. What a Good and Smart God!
At every phase of our lives, he has planned the resources of men, responsibilities, objects, and experiences (not evil experiences) for our fulfillment in life. Even if satan tries to get into the plans God has for you, he can't fit in because God's plans are good! He is an evil ugly guy. Anytime he shows up in God's plans and purpose for you, he is just too late because these things have been prepared (finished before the existence of this world); they have been meticulously planned out; they have been properly ordered. God's just awaiting your alignment at each stage. Friend, your life is in order!
Now, imagine a staff who isn't the owner of a company getting to a meeting after plans have been adequately made and settled for a project. There's absolutely nothing he can do except to TRY and disrupt things or work towards convincing the company's owner (directly or indirectly) to change plans. The plans would only change if the suggestions are valid - that's an example of satan's place in God's design for you. He's just too late and would never give God a piece of good advice. What is written is written. N.B.: God didn't employ satan. He's God's enemy😁.
You know what? God can use all you've been through, you're going through, and will ever go through to work things out for your good. Even though God is sovereign, He isn't the author and sustainer of all things in and around our lives. God's a good God. If he is the source of all the good and evils that happen to us, the scripture wouldn't have told us to submit to God, RESIST THE DEVIL and he'll flee! (James 4:7). Submitting to God simply implies that there are some things that God does - these things are good! And resisting satan means that there are some things that satan does - these things are evil!
Is God the author and sustainer of wars in the world today? Nah. 'Where do wars and fights come from among you? Do they not come from your desires for pleasure that war in your members?' (James 4:1). Friend, self-centeredness (pleasure) is a major source of all problems we have in this world. What satan succeeded in doing to the woman in the Garden of Eden was to turn her attention from God to self. The man also turned his attention from God's Word to himself. These actions had dire consequences.
So, God does not birth and sustain all things in or around our lives but he uses all things (good, evil, complicated, messes, messages - all things!) to help us grow if we let Him love us and love Him in return (Romans 8:28). Therefore, it's interesting and soothing to know that as God's children, we don't really have bad days. We shouldn't be calling any day a bad day because every day reveals the glory of God and we have also been given the authority to redeem the time of these days because the days are evil.
IF THE DAYS ARE EVIL (Ephesians 5:15-17) AND THESE SAME DAYS REVEAL THE GLORY OF GOD (Psalm 19:1), THEN, IT'S YOUR CHOICE TO SEE AND DETERMINE WHAT EACH DAY SHOULD MEAN OR SAY TO YOU - you can either choose to see them as evil days which you have to struggle through or as good days which you should worship through because it has been made by the Lord JUST FOR YOU. It's all about perspective, friend. God lives in the worship of His people. Glory days are here and now.
As I said earlier, no child of God has a provision problem; you don't even have a faith problem! You are a Christ Believer and this means that you have the Faith of Christ! You have it IN YOU; It's not elsewhere. You've got to own it. What the average Christian experiences, therefore, is a knowledge problem. Where there's no right knowledge in operation, evil will prevail. Knowledge is what gives you an edge over different experiences you encounter in your soul, body, and the world around you.
Once again, anyone who is in Christ is a new creature old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new." I love the fact that the scripture goes on to tell us that 'all things are of God'. All things are of God! I love it! God's a good and perfect God and so are His provisions. In Christ, every good and perfect gift has been provided just for you (Ephesians 1:3). You're that Special.
Somehow, some way, the first source of unbelief I wish to address has been mentioned between the lines in this piece and we'd learn more about it in the next piece.
God bless you.
You are Loved.
P.S. Just in case you read the last piece, I remember saying that I was going to share some of my experiences on speaking to things and healing but the plan changed and that part has been removed. I'm sorry. Please, pardon me. Thank you.
Have a great Day! For the Lord made it! And did it just for you.
