IN YOUR WALK with God, there are instructions to obey. Obeying these instructions helps you to progress in the structures that God has put in place for your life before the creation of the world.

The Psalmist says, "You saw me before I was born and scheduled each day of my life before I began to breathe. Every day was recorded in your book!" (Psalm 139:16). Therefore, you don't get to create your purpose in life; you are to discover it.

You are not everybody; so, you can't afford to live like everybody. You are somebody whose kind and journey are rare. Knowing and believing this will help you get rid of unhealthy competition in your life's journey as you follow the Word.

Are you finding it difficult to obey God in this season of your life? I want you to know that God is smarter that you think. He is smarter than the way you are thinking. Just obey. His Word declares that He knows the thoughts He is thinking about you - thoughts of peace, not of evil to give you a future and hope i.e., an expectation of good in your future (Jeremiah 29:11).

Friend, you have a future that has been thoughtfully organized by God and there is good in it.

As I said earlier, just obey.

In regard to that statement, your natural mind might be like, "Hmm... 'Just'. Did you just say, 'Just'? You think it's that easy?" You're right! I said, 'Just'. The Just just obeys by Faith. 1 John 5:3 says that God's commandments are not burdensome. So, His commandments become a burden when you're in unbelief or you're not willing to obey.

Friend, God has taught you as much as you need to obey Him in this season of your life.

I really think that a specific reason why you're finding it difficult to obey is that you are counting too many consequences. You're putting so many cons in sequence and they are altogether, not feeding you with Faith. Faith is simple if you choose to have it.

Abraham obeyed God's instruction to sacrifice Isaac by Faith. His negative feeling could not do it; putting cons around God's instructions couldn't do it. Faith did it!

There were actually consequences for sacrificing Isaac. One of them is that he could have lost his marriage by killing Isaac - Sarah could have termed him a 'murderer' and divorced him but the good news is that God didn't intend that Isaac would die so He provided an animal in his stead. Your obedience to God opens you up to new levels of His provision.

Friend, Just Obey.

In the next piece, I will share some insights with you on what I believe God had in mind for Abraham as regard the killing of his son.

God bless you.

I Love You.
